Oh my flamboyant Bro!
Reneging the promise,
Sojourning from a weenie to a linchpin,
Treading miles from penny-stricken to glitterati,
Covering kilometers from a buffoon to a natty persona,
Sashaying from a neophyte to a maven,
Setting milestones from me to ape.
But I did not, I could not.
But I did not complain.
In the distant sky, glance I rapturously
Lionized bro, skedaddling from me.
I revered you,
I wished you never retrograde,
I deified you,
I kowtowed you,
We maundered together,
Primogeniture endowing what you didn’t need.
But I didn’t complain.
Remember the last time, we schmoozed,
Remember the last time, festooned our lineage,
Remember the last time, had a fracas,
Remember the last time, went on a spree.
Know I, time sways away,
Leaving behind a litany of memories,
I lament and you shrug off,
But I did not complain.
I remember, yes, I do,
The first time, you were inducted,
The first time, flaunted your riches,
The first time, perpetrated in wreaking our lineage,
The first time, your mawkish looks haunted me.
But I did not complain.
Still craving for you,
Still ferreting for your fervour being a weirdo,
Still shunning your foxiness,
Still scrounging for your affability.
But I did not complain.
Turning into a saboteur,
Sabotaging my self respect,
Sassing all of us.
But I did not complain.
May & may & may,
you proceed and prosper and muster,
Never shilly-shally.
By a window, I sit down,
Take a look at setting sun,
Wait for you,
Wait for the limbo to be over,
And I will never complain.
