I DO NOT HAVE THE MUSIC OF THE POEM TODAY

I do not have the music of the poem today
I did not have it yesterday
The music makes the poem unforgettable
It makes us want to hear it again and again

I do not have the music of the poem today
I did not have it yesterday
I will not have it tomorrow
Perhaps I never had the music of the poem
And all I can do is listen to the music of others poems
And say them over and over again to myself
As if they were my own
Until I die.
