I Do Not Give Up
I do not give up
I go on trying and hoping
It is foolish perhaps
Delusory perhaps
But I do not give up
For close to fifty years now
I have not given up
I am not sure I will make it all the way
But I am may die not giving up
In any case it seems I will go on
As long as I physically can
Writing words
And hoping something will come of them.
