I Don'T Poem by Raven Keller

I Don'T

Rating: 5.0

I don't want to wait for you anymore
The reward at the end of the maze
Walls, obstacles, block my path to you
Entangled in the barbed wire
I see your sillhouette

I don't want to strive for you anymore
The love you offer isn't worth the pain
Jealousy, hate, prevents me from healing from you
Entwined in your hand
Lays a shard of me

I don't want to think of you anymore
You're company just isn't worth the scars
Hope links me to you still
Entangled in the barbed wire
I see your sillhouette
I implore
For my life back
For my heart back
For my soul back
But you,
Set a new maze
And waits in the centre
For you know
I can never stop loving you

I know exactly what you mean and it is sad, but once we're left, the one who left us behind does not care anymore about us - usually. I tried to move on and got not really far away. I'm still missing this half to make me complete...Thanks for sharing your emotions! Mandy xxx
