I Don'T Even Know Poem by Peace Aisogun

I Don'T Even Know

Rating: 5.0

I caught myself falling into space
losing focus, hocus pocus
I must be a magician because I found a way to hear pure silence
But in the meantime you swear you're speaking
Staring off into space
Losing focus, Eyes blurring
Tears forming, heart breaking
Storms growing, pain showing
I guess I lost control of my powers because I'm hearing something that sounds like 'It's time to let go.'
My ears are opening, eyes are blinking
My mind is thinking. All of this happening and I'm not even there
This is what it feels like to be alone in the mist of a crowd
I can't remember who I said what to or how long this smile has been plastered on
So here's the plan, my brain plans a trip without me
Off into exile, I plan to reconcile with myself
I plan to come to acceptance, it may never happen
but I'll live. It's too bad you're still gone
RIP.
