Untitled Poem by Peace Aisogun

Untitled

When you're trapped
You don't really have the luxury of left or right
It's either you wait or fight
But how do you fight when your hands are tied
It's times like this that negative thoughts will flood your mind
Because it's hard to fight when your hands are tied

Trapped
But hoping for a miracle to take place
Something to erase the walls the bind you and keep you in place
Unable to continue this race.
Now you are in a position that is testing you faith
But you don't see a way of escape
Because you feel trapped
And its hard to fight when your hands are tied
It's hard to stand up when your head it down
It's hard to smile when you have a frown

But in times like this God will arise

Freedom, is a beautiful gift
Handed to people who strongly desire it
And once those people have been set free
Those are the ones that end up changing life for the rest of humanity.
