I Drowned. Poem by Darren Harris

I Drowned.

I’m slowly been drowned by all my emotions,
As your haunting voice instills me with fear,
A tidal wave of shivers like a tsunami,
Travel through my body as though you’re still near,
I’m slowly been drowned by all my emotions,
Because my heart still tells me that you cared,
My mind must be full of twisted illusions,
Because I still see you even though your not there,
I’m slowly been drowned by all my emotions,
Because of the mind games you played with me,
You should never play games that don’t end on a final whistle,
Now with my memories imprisoned, I’ll never be free,
I’m slowly been drowned by all my emotions,
As my heart and soul slowly wither and die,
Tears of blood run down my face like a river,
But my love for you still intensifies,
I’m slowly been drowned by all my emotions,
I’m slowly been drowned,
Slowly been drowned,
Now that you’re gone,
I drowned.
