I Feel Absence Of You Poem by Nilufer Dursun

I Feel Absence Of You

Rating: 5.0

If the time looks like a flower
Swallows beat their wings
Achild cries silently
And a train leaves full of foreign place
My heart bleeds beleive me

Earth used to be a mother once
Bread which has been kissed and put on forehead used to be holy
And earth seed and pray have been making bigger love without stopping
Love used to be a pain weak and silent

I feel absence of you my sunflower
Your purple smilings used to decorate my mountain
You've been the most delicate gren of the forests
You've moved forward in the caravan of eternity
A sigh
Asmile in my troubles

You've been tarhana soup of our poor houses
My magnolia has been grown in the shadow of my mother
In your green eyes I used to resd love
And the verses from Holy Quran
You've been a life fell down on my forehead

Now I feel absence of you
Old songs at my lips
Time looks like flowing streams
Your memoir from you to me has been a sunflower looking at the sun
Because of your longing
