I Found, And Found In It Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

I Found, And Found In It

Objects on the table disorderly
Table lamp shows me
A while, I look at each
Things become images
On the surface and in the content
A narrative connects with the disorder

The book closed by a book mark
I wanted to continue from the point of stopped
Sentences, a paragraph and a page
In the memory, a disusedimage

From the beginningI intended to read
My eyes suffered from a pain
The clock on the wall tells me a something
I gazed at it and thought of it
It's an image which governs my table
Being tired, to switch off the lamp
The sound of the clock allow me not
I see the things, in which the history recalls
Disorder, from where it comes
I wanted to find an object which is
Neat, perfect and clear
I found, and found in it
How the disorder lives
