I Gaze At Her Poem by Ibrahim Degree

I Gaze At Her

I gaze at her and wonder,
How deep of a fall can it be?
Such a beauty makes me ponder,
but I'm blessed I have eyes to see.

Then I stare at her and think,
did I ever free fall into the abyss?
Her spell put me on the brink.
A perfect painting for the canvas.

Now I gape at her and reflect,
I've never fallen so fast before.
A powerful force you can't neglect.
Such warmth, I shall stay for evermore.

This is what I want, this is my new home.
I must suck at free falling, as this is a no landing zone.

I gaze at her and contemplate,
Would I feel this to eternity?
Did I find the soul to mate?
I could care less, let me fall till infinity.
