I'M Sorry Poem by Ibrahim Degree

I'M Sorry

As the sun was rising,
A baby was born smiling
His mother tearing happily
Holding him tenderly
A moment in the pursuit of happiness
Where things were white and full of brightness

In the morning came a toddler,
was not much of a babbler
His only friend was his mother
sister and brother
Quietly his only friend became his toys
A bit different from other boys

In the afternoon came a child,
As if born to be wild
It was a good joyride
Not knowing things will not be for long on his side
He was very ambitious
Certainly not the type to be vicious
His love tasted delicious
Not long before he started being suspicious
His family believed he will be the good one
The pride, the better son.

In the evening came a disturbed teenager,
His Insides were getting colder
He believed dreams will come true
But it all came out to be blue
Never knew he was walking on the dark path
Leaving his mother crying over the good footpath
He was the master of foil
Destroying what's left of family joy
People insulted him for being a disgrace
He wished to backspace to his birthplace

A putrefactive apple of her eye
A wish from him to die.
For the pain and the worry

I'm Sorry.

A beautiful poem. An innocent child slowly going wrong without realising it. I hope you continue your works as this reminds me of the kind of troubles that many people go through in life. -Continue spreading words of truth around the world-
