Why do you see my heart
As something for you to break
An unimportant piece of me
Something G didn't have to make

Even though I feel it beating
Every time your eyes look into mine.
Something screams inside me
He won't always think you shine.

And my heart breaks when you call me
Someone else's name
Like the girl in your science class
I'm just another girl, stuck in your stupid game

It hurts when you pull me into your arms
Because I know that it won't last forever
And no matter how much I try
The pieces of my heart, won't stay together

Because my eyes always hurt
From tears that don't seem to fall
And I'm always choking myself with words
The ones you'll never hear at all.

I wish you could read my mind
Maybe then you would finally know
The reason that I still love you
All the reasons I had to go.
