I am in an ocean
Being pulled deep under a wave
In the silence I feel I'm at peace
This is the gift that he gave.

Through a feeling of dispair
And a tear that bled away hate
There was always someone there
Someone for me to appreciate

But recently I have not seen him
And my world seems to give me grief
For the feelings and the happiness
Seemed only a memory, so brief

And through the breaks in the waves
I think I hear his gentle call
Suddenly I am lifted to the surface
Where my heart can only fall

Because reality seems to hit me
And I gasp because the sadness is chilling my soul
He did not come back that afternoon
And to join him was my only goal.

Under the waves in the warmth of peace
Where the world seems to pass me by
Sinking into the depths of beauty
To be with him, to finally die.
