I Hate That I Love You Poem by scarlet red

I Hate That I Love You

sre.

I don’t like those kinds of eyes
For it was the most unexpressive type
But as I gaze upon those eyes, I see
My future with you of which I long to be

I don’t like those teeth of yours
It’s like all your saliva will pour
But as you smile when I tried to be funny
The sweetest smile ever is all I can see

I don’t even like your body
With such a big tummy
But as you wrap me in your arms
I found the safest place that was so warm

Honestly, I don’t really like you
But am I telling what is true?
I want to accept the fact though
I hate that I love you so

Lovely poem, quirky, cute and oh-so-true! How many of us have had to admit the hate that they love someone so. (I hope your beau got to read this - sure it would make them smile) . Good work. HG: -) xx
