I Have An Immense Appreciation

I have an immense appreciation
For the love of God
Who's always ready and willing and able
To forgive those who treat Him roughshod
And has extended grace to offer
Upon their repentance day
And turn the tongues of those who've cursed Him
To now send praises His way

Now a new creation in Jesus Christ
Where faith has taken hold
No longer timid to share God's Word
But in that enterprise now bold
And fitted for their yonder home
Through God's blest righteousness
When you can live with a first class faith
Why settle for second best

And we shall rise again Hallelujah
For the fear of old death is gone
Enjoying are we our so great Salvation
For He's given our heart's a new song
And faith has won the Victory
Through the Lamb who for sinners was slain
No wonder I could never praise any other
For Salvation is only in His name!

Has He raised your Hallelujah
Or aren't you yet fitted for some verse
There's a joy unspeakable awaiting you
But you must put first things first
There's a God who's willing to forgive you
Foe every last sin you've done
If you want to know His blessing and favour
You will have to come to know the Son!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
