I Have Lost Everything Poem by Gert Strydom

I have now lost everyone and everything,
have suddenly nothing and nobody
and even if I call upon God and the angels,
it's as if nobody still hears my call
and I do not know how things can go so wrong,
where I am without any trust or hope.
Suddenly you do appear next to me,
do come in and pray for everything to be better,
and it's as if you safe me from great evil,
you bring God, when it feels as if no angel does protect
and I get insight into you humanity and character,
when you Annelize, do full of wit point out things,
where about you and love I am dumbstruck,
did not know that I can miss you now like this.
