I Humble Myself Poem by Edwina Reizer

I Humble Myself

Lead me to the altar of love.
Let me bend my knees
and supplicate my weakness
and all my frailties.

I humble myself before you
And pray I can be heard.
I offer love and devotion
and kindness in my word.

For I can't live without this one
that you created for me.
And so I ask at this altar
for an answer to my plea.
