you left like you promised you wouldn't
you lied like you swore you never would
you hurt me like you said never would happen
and you played me like i was a game of cards

you left me
broken
scared
and alone like you said you never would do again

you ripped my heart out and stomped on it
you hold in your hand and use it as bate
you work my mind like a puzzle
and you hold my love for you against me

you act like caring for somone is a sin
and you act like actually loving someone is going to kill you

i know all of this
yet i can't let you go
not with out a fight

i can't watch you turn your back on me
i can't let you walk out that door and never come back

i know all of this yet my love for you is as strong as ever
