I Know Now Poem by Lyn Paul

I Know Now

Rating: 4.8

I Know Now
I wish I knew back when
When I was so young
So gullible
When I was everyone's friend

I know now
My voice is heard
It actually
Sounds quite sweet
My ears react
My heart,
Never misses a beat

I know now
I am real
For so many
Are so Not
I know
To follow thy heart
Just accept
What you have got

Importantly
I know now
That I am
Important too
It took me 55 years
To realise this
It was something
I never knew

For I never Knew
I was Loved
Never told
In a family growing
I took on
Everyone heartache
Tried to heal
Everyone's pain
Tormented in many ways
But I,
Could stop the rain

The childhood age carries many memories and we remember back these time to time. You have remembered back the days with beauty and duty. Yes, yes, you know! You know how your yeas perceive and heart beats. Every one's pain you can feel. But we hope no more pain should acquire hearts. This poem is very brilliantly penned.10

A sweet and soft poem. Those 55 years are behind you now. Look up to those ahead of you, from now on!
