I Know Why the Eagles Nest So High

The eagles' high rock cleft shelters a
Rampart hospice set above plains
Far out runs out of change
Unprotected abundance reaches her
Nest - markets sugar coat a hunger
Faith gained through suffering would bring
If she unfilled would leave with winter
I know why the eagles nest so high
From advantage -higher-ups build nests
Above plains and seas but by the dark of
Their own shadows cast down a darkness
Upon the widow's pain -fatherless they too
Become the last who are left to the
Imago and lonely idols
I know why the eagles nest so high
Temptation brings to a holy world
All are worldly pleasures -she alone
Would come with spring
But fear the dark in shadows cast
Upon a widows son a fatherless waste
For they too shall perish together
Under the slain -no life is refundable
There living worth living out the string
No less there to remain
Nested and dry then buried
The last refused live to die go where we
Can fast these many days of power
