I WANT TO THANK YOU:

I want to thank you for allowing
The finest years of enjoyment
Defining this life -watching you
Watch me as we both hit our strides
Watching roads ahead for detours
To peace formed behind us as we
Turn from mirrors of self indulgence
Behind you behind me as we glide
To bear traveling free from rectory
To rectory
Empowerment realized together is
The better year naturally ascribed
To remember people of our shared
Pieties -do not look back into the
Pages of dark nights in search of
Life in ghosts that always betray a
Hope we put in memory for street
Players and required audition try
Outs for dreamers play Studio life
In surreal life
Light the fuel contact at the wick
Inflame nature's fricative crackling
Stay indulged in conversation
In need of articulated meaning and
Ideas loss in rivers of excess words
The general idea turned to laughter
To musical chatting - we blow lyrical
Horns of song - from infirmaries of
Flames of love and flickering cameos
Candlelight majesty cameos.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Cameos require the natural.. to play the part in dreams, to be the role in nature, to take the stage and lastly hold onto the peace of mind and the ghosts of grace, conscience; and, in and out of time; without and with the loss; and with the loss the mind, too fine the right belief... ['pieces of peace']: a title soon composing.

poet Edgar Allan Poe

Kind solace in a dying hour!
Such, father, is not (now) my theme-
I will not madly deem that power
Of Earth may shrive me of the sin
