I Live Too Much In The Past Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Live Too Much In The Past

Rating: 5.0

I LIVE TOO MUCH IN THE PAST

I live too much in the past
In longing I will never realize
In what has been
And what will never be again
I live too much in longing for the lost
Not only those I love
But the life the experience the music of other worlds
I will never be wholly where I am
Or complete with myself
Too much has been and gone
Which I will never know again.

I read as many of your poems I can. They are incredible! The sorrow and depression in them are overwhelming
