I'll Tell You

I kissed a girl today
I slept in her bed last night
I still thought of you
Let me tell you though
I can't love her
Not as with you
Because the only one
I can truly trust
With my heart
Is you
And either way
Any other wouldn't work you see
Partly because you're a part of me
And because angels
Can only be with other angels
That's just how it is
And not just any angel
Because when GOD made you
He made me too

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Yesterday I met a woman named Caroline. She took me home and feed me and watched a movie with me. She was tired so we went to bed. We didn't do anything. We went to church in the morning. I liked her a little but the whole time I was thinking of you. I know i can't love anyone else and I've accepted that. I would rather have it that way anyway because no one is like you. I don't want anyone else. I just want you and I wouldn't want that any other way. I know I can trust you with my heart and no one else.
