I was wrong, all those years ago.
I thought we separated because simply
It wasn't meant to be.
I was wrong to hurt you and break your heart.
I greatly your pain within my own heart.
The reason is stranger than it may seem.
That we actually are meant to be.
We left because we simply
Weren't ready to be what we are meant to be
We need to learn
To develope
To grow, to mature
Because without it we can't be life's cure
We'd stumble and fall
We'd lose it all
Though I grow my heart still does burn
For you I grow and learn
I want you to know it'll be okay
I just hope this time you'll stay.
