I Look Foward To It Poem by Sam Yang

I Look Foward To It

When people come together to achieve a common goal, they don’t think about the pain or the process. They think about the big picture. So here we are. Here are the people scattered around the earth, all dwelling on nature. But that one day where everyone realizes that violence is what causes the biggest threat of all is the beginning to a new philosophy. Peace. Peace is free. Peace is achieved through friendship. Friendship is achieved through common interests. A common interest can be peace. It is a never ending cycle that can happen. It can happen if we think about the big picture. No matter the geological or cultural differences we all share, we can overcome. For everyone was born with a beating heart. Oceans can separate the physical touch of two hands but it cannot stop the free will of love. For love is like the wind, unseen but felt. And no matter the distance, no matter the process, no matter the obstacles, love will endure. And wherever you are at this moment you can make a difference. For the air your exhale is the air nature feeds on, a beautiful never ending cycle that is loosely appreciated. When will we appreciate the true beauty that we have within? When will we appreciate the actions that we do? Our bodies are the image of the creator himself. “Failing to appreciate art is to fail at appreciating ourselves.” We are the biggest form of art in the world. We have the upper hand against nature. But if we embrace nature and appreciate its beauty, we can accomplish so much. If the world held hands and was silent to better understand tranquility; art is created.
