I Looked Inside Myself /And There I Seemed Somebody Else

I LOOKED INSIDE MYSELF /AND THERE I SEEMED SOMEBODY ELSE

I looked inside myself
And there I seemed somebody else-
And then I looked away
And it seemed I'd come back to stay-

There is no me
And yes
there is,
More of me
Than I can say-

Many am I and not at all
And all of course only one-
Self or self or not self today
One day soon I will be gone -

Who I am
And what I be
Only God -Great Mystery
May retell my small history.
