I Love Deep Poem by Onke Iviwe Gwetshe

I Love Deep

Rating: 5.0

Running, sweating
Running against the clock
I wish to reach my destination
Just before I die
Scavaging, digging; searching
I wish to find my treasure before I die
I wish I could die
But I want to die when you know how I feel
I wish to drop a tear
If you were here
Just maybe I could smile
The pain hurt-smiling hurts more
Smile for what?
You don't even know I love you
I wish to die loneliness dwells in me
Heavy bundle of life on my shoulders
With no one to share it with
Please ease my bundled, ease my pain
Love me I promise to cherish you
With all my life
Because that's just how I am
I Love Deep.
