I LOVE HER SO DEAR by John Hawkes
How do you write a poem, about one you love so dear?
When words are all I have to give, how will anyone hear?
When any words I say, are not nearly enough,
How do I express, the depth of my love?
Does one rave and say the obvious things,
like she is my best friend, and I want to but her a ring?
Or should I just leave to the listeners ear? And trust me when I tell you,
I love her so dear.
