I don’t know what happened or how we became great friends,
I know I’m falling for you, I’m in love like I’ve never been,
When my heart is aching, with you it always mends,
Though no one knows how I feel within…

We think of each other as more than friends,
While I was thinking it came to me,
“my love for him only extends,
But it hurts me to know this will never be.”

I like to think of the good times we’ve had,
To know for me you care,
Something that I’d like to add,
My heart with you I shared...

If only for a moment we could pretend to be more,
To not hide our feelings, like ever before,
Something you already knew,
I love you.
