I have doubted my reality,
Where real and right were one,
I have doubted myself,
Causing my own mistrust,
Thinking I was wrong,
Believing I am unworthy,
Forgetting my self-value,
Forgetting myself,
I have deceived myself,
Believing thatthings were real,
When really,
They are what encumbered me in the beginning,
I've embedded in me,
The possibility that some will be users,
Using me for everything I do not have,
I've fooled myself with such people,
Who have used me then trashed me,
I have no reality,
I have no Worth,
I have nothing,
I have myself and I.
A refined poetic imagination, Jessicd Gabanyic. You may like to read my poem, Love And Iust. Thank you.
This reminded me of Mark Twain's, “When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained.” Who cares what the world thinks. It's what we think of ourselves that matters. Great write. tfs
