The days are long,
the nights are cold,
i wait for you here,
always by your side,
never feeling sad,
never feeling alone,
knowing that you love me,
knowing that you are there for me,
knowing i never want to be without you in my life,
the days go by,
so i know its one step closer to seeing you again,
closer to being in your arms,
closer to feeling your warmth,
not looking back at the time that's pasted,
not looking at the days ahead,
just knowing that today is one less day
i have to wait to be with you again
