I Miss Her

I miss her taste
I miss her smell
I miss her here with me in bed
I miss her warmth
I miss her smile
I miss her laughter in my head
I miss her hug
I miss her kiss
I miss her walking down the street
I miss her look
I miss her fun
I miss her tender hands so sweet
I miss her touch
I miss her fears
I miss her tears that I don’t see
I miss her jokes
I miss her so
I miss her gift of loving me.

Poem of the Day

poet Sidney Lanier

Once, at night, in the manor wood
My Love and I long silent stood,
Amazed that any heavens could
Decree to part us, bitterly repining.
