I miss you…
I miss you more than the moon which glows…
I miss you more than the trees that grow so tall…
I miss you so much that tears sometimes fall…
I miss you more than the days that pass…
Allowing us to be in this awful separation…
I promised to never leave you…
I promised to stay by your side…
Now I’m the one who is alone…
Holding up my damn pride…
I miss you more than the air I breathe
Which fills my lungs each day…
I miss you more than the life I have
‘Cause it feels like it’s draining away…
I miss you so much I feel dismayed
Floating in a watery parade…
