I Need To Write A Few Lines Now
To return to and calm myself
To be myself-
I need to write a few lines now
So a sense of ‘total uselessness'
Will not be the beginning of my day-
I need to write a few lines now
To feel I somehow still am-
I need to write a few lines now
To warm up for the long work day ahead-
I need to write a few lines now
To feel I can still write-
I need to write a few lines now
To assure myself
I am and will continue to be-
I need to write a few lines now
To write a few lines now-
I need to write a few lines now-

you can write, Shalom Freedman! the theme of a need to write a poem has become a poem itself! Great!
