I Offered Shakespeare A Guest Role In My Poem

1) I AM YOUR FRIEND HUMBLETON (Dramatic Monologue)

LOL! Hmmm, looking at the mirror combed I
Smearing a face cream, a smile I won!
I repeated what was in the script, I bet
In the theatre, the stage was set.

Hi, said I to myself "I'm your Humbleton:
An humble ant, bumble bee & a tiny fly.
Lo, I plough the land that I don't own,
I live in my landlord's home on a loan."

To me I said "I'm a man with no glory
But what I owe you is a story!
For which fleas may come line
To taste such a poetic wine."

Oh it's me "I gallop on my horse of muse
Wheeled with stars to amuse!
From the deep sea feelings lift
To the sky, in the bliss souls go adrift."

Part II YOU & I IN A POETIC DIALOGUE

I ask you to touch a poem in the flight
Clasp it tight on to a lamp's light,
Place it in the heart, feel it with the soul
You can find a delightful place after all.

It's a palace where you can find miracles:
Ants go in line to make food, peep-peep!
Bees make honey, a goat and a sheep run
A tireless wolf chases both in the sun.

As it's catching its prey your heart jumps
Out of your mouth with goose bumps!
Stop there, as I'll tell you the truth, abruptly
All of us are caught in a poetic cobweb, aptly.
