I remember the days we had before
the days each morning i found u beside
when life offers much we ask for more
it is the nature of man kind
now there's no one left for me to adore
only your memory running through my mind
i thought i was able in life to score
now i'm wishing these days i could rewind
I remember the table we used to sit together
your smile shining up to light my way
the vows in your eyes promised you'll stay forever
not knowing you'll leave the second day
how foolish i am to dream we're for each other
how foolish i am to dream you'll ever stay
you want me as a friend or maybe a brother
thats the excuse you'll always say
but i won't be cheap and for feelings i won't bother
it's the price of ignorance i'll have to pay
