I remember the warmth of the sun
I remember the shine of that smile
I remember the heat of your hand
I wished it would never end
I remember the cold when it was done
I remember the dark of those miles
I remember the frost of my hands
I wished it would end
Now these memories run
Fire and Ice meld awhile
Smoke rises in a can
Now its time I mend
It was a great pleasure reading this poem about the sweet and sour memories. The music of the words stays long after the read.
