I Saw The True U

I saw you coming home from school,
I tried to play it cool,
you didn’t even see me, I knew we could never be.
From then on I thought you were the one,
who I could share my life with.
Everytime I looked at you I smiled, I still do.
But then I saw you with him, and I felt the light inside me go dim.
You had already moved on, my chance had gone.
Then I heard you shout and cry, I figured you could still be mine.
So I took a chance, and now I’m loved,
by the one girl I thought never would,
this was weird how it happen
but im so happy it did
you thought me to keep going and never give up hope,
now that I did I been thought about love
the test was getting you
, but the lesson is still being learned
So take my advice and don’t run,
Just because getting the love isn’t so much fun!
