I see
Death
Lurking
In your eyes...

There on the battlefield
That has a thousand names...
Iwo Jima, San Juan Hill,
Wounded Knee, Gettysburg,
London, Belfast,
Berlin, Africa, Jerusalem,
The tide never stops,

And the list goes on and on,
But the look in the eyes of
The warriors never changes,

And I see
Death
Lurking
In your eyes.

And the death we see in those eyes belongs to themselves as well as others and it is extremely violent.

Until each and every one of us sees love in the others eyes, only then when we start with ONE can we change anything

I hope that love shines the way and that we all somehow, someday know how to truly follow
