I Set Myself Free Poem by Black Love

I Set Myself Free

Rating: 5.0

To be honesty, I not sorry.
Not sorry for anything!
Saying sorry, is a sign for weakness
Or sorry for being real.
I sat here, in silence.
Everything's always been about you,
never about me.
Thinking and waiting.
Is it any wonder, why I can’t sleep?
All I have is, all you gave to me.
You said to me, You don't just walk away from me.
I made you.
You don't go anywhere
until I let you go.
Fine. then let me go. You set here and you look at me.
Why? Don't like what you see?
There's no kindness in your eyes.
Moment in silence.
AH! I can't stand another moment in silence.
Looking at you and turning my back to you.
I'll make you a deal.
You tell me the truth,
I'll Never ask you again.
The truth about what?
Everything.
It was a long time ago. Not the same as I was.
LIER! You're exactly the same.
Looking out the window,
Lie to me, .......
I love you. Still waiting for the truth?
No, I stop waiting a long time ago.
I got up, walk to to the door
And Never look back.
When I think of all the time I've wasted, I could cry.
The truth didn't set me free.
So, I decide to stop all the crying and all the waiting,
And did something about it.
I set myself free.
