I Shall Go By

Mind disturbs
Palm rubs
No solution
With weak resolution

Prayers too do not help
Bad intention is deep on shelf
I try to ward off
It does not stop

How to live with hatred?
How honestly to lead?
I live on confusion
With lots of questions

Lord may guide
And provide
Clear instinct
I shall then act

I leave it to his discretion
Provide me with clue and action
I shall stop thinking bad
With glow on face and no sadness

Mind may blow
In reverse flow
That has to tamed
Something more is to be learnt

I shall go by
Conscious and try
Pray for more advice
For the good services

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
