I Still Have Your Picture Poem by norman hale

I Still Have Your Picture

I still have your picture
Standing here next to my bed
I still have your sweet memories
Always running through my head

I still have your love
You gave me so long ago
Right here in my old heart
Through my words, it tends to show

I still have sweet memories
That tend to make me smile
They both wake me and warm me
Every once in awhile

I still see a vision
Of you standing there, that first day
With the prettiest little smile
Not even knowing how you had made my day

Yes I still have your picture
Forever here in my mind
And it's surely a keeper
For you are one of a kind
