I Thank God! Poem by Koena Mokoena

I thank god for blessing me with this day. /
Hence, i pray each & everyday. /
There are many people out there who would /
have loved to see this day, but they couldn't. /
Hence, I'm grateful, because I'm alive & kicking. /
And that is because of you my lord. /

May this be a wonderful day. /
Would you please guide & protect me. /
From the trials & tribulations of the devil. /
Oh god, i need the power to fight against the
evil spirit. /
I believe everything in this worldis impossible without your power /
Because you are the alpha & omega. /
I believe in you because you have created heaven & earth. /
Hence, i will pray each & everyday twenty four seven. /

I ask for the ability & the strength to work. /
So, that i cannot steal for those who are working, /
Because you have blessed me with my own unique talent to use. /
And so I'm down on my knees, in this day asking for the power to use it effectively. /
This is coming straight from the bottom of my heart. /
People say try is the best, but i will never try you. /
Because if i do, i'm the devil. /
