I Think, Therefore I Am Not Poem by The Queen's Dagger

I Think, Therefore I Am Not

These thoughts make my heart race,
I cannot keep up with this pace.
I don't want to see your smiling face,
if all you smile at is my grace.

Do you really love me,
or am I blinded by insanity?
If I do not think, I can see
what I am supposed to be.

I think, therefore I am nothing.
I cannot do what I must,
and now myself I do not trust.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I hate being smart because I am supposed to do something great with my life, I just want to write and play music.
