David Bennett (Manchester)
'I THOUGHT I HEARD A MAN CRY LAST NIGHT'
'I THOUGHT I HEARD A MAN CRY LAST NIGHT'
I thought I heard him weep
I thought I heard a man cry last night
He woke me from my sleep
I thought I heard a man cry last night
I heard his gentle sob,
I thought I heard a man cry last night
I wondered why he was so sad,
I thought I heard a man cry last night
Or was I going mad,
I thought I heard a man cry last night
I heard his cries subside
I thought I heard a man cry last night
Before I returned gently to my sleep,
I thought I heard a man cry last night
My Pillow doesnt tell me any lies, !
David Bennett.
