I'Ve Been To A Few Churches

i went to a Church
which was really a corner house
where the Black Preacher preached against
so many things i was for
right after the choir sang off-key
to a piano that needed fine tuning
and a different piano player too.

i went to a Church in Atlanta
that i "spiritually" believe was full of hypocrites
claiming to be christians
that Reverend $hiny $hoes tried his best
to save and convert
knowing he would "convert" some of their donation$
to his $avings account
when he went to the bank on Monday morning.

i "wandered" once into a Church
which was really a Mosque
that i knew i'd never attend again
because i liked chitlins too much
as well as… ham-hocks wit my rice
and knew…
i was not going to change my slave name
from Ronald to Ali BooBoo BomBlast
or take my sneakers off six times a day
to pray for some poor white infidel's demise in America
who dis-liked Muslim Bean Burgers
along wit the practice of…
old men from 3rd world countries
marrying 12 year old Pakistani girls
after giving her family 15 Afghan goats.

i went to a White non-traditional Church
and almost fell asleep until…
the members started dancing with snakes
i didn't stay long enough to find out
if they was Catholic / Protestant or just plain crazy.

i've been to a few churches.
