I'Ve Loved Mother Nature Poem by Francis Duggan

I'Ve Loved Mother Nature

I've loved Mother Nature since I was a boy
And a walk in her World I always enjoy
The songs of her birds and buzzings of her bees
And the soughing of the wind in her bushes and trees
The skylark is carolling o'er the bracken clad hill
And the babbling song of the silvery tongued rill
Flowing down to the river towards the ocean shore
The magic of Nature is forever more
I love Mother Nature the colours she wear
The food for all life forms on her Earth she does bear
On her very existence there is not a time span
And she can live with or without the family of man
I've loved Mother Nature since I was quite young
And like others her praises I often have sung.
