I Wait For You Poem by Justin Hendricks

I Wait For You

Gazing upon the blood stains before me,
My heart skips a beat knowing what i've done.
Disappointing everyone that i see.
Maybe it's time to try a gun.

I lie in my sorrow more than skin deep.
Counting the minutes till we are one.
I want you to love me and take the leap.
Into my heart that you have won.

Pictures of you in my head,
Fill me with misery I've never felt.
Why can't you be in my bed?
Or just in my heart so it may melt.

Tonight your not here so I will cry.
I cry until we're together forever.
Until the day we may die.
Our bond i won't let sever.
