I Walk Alone
I’ am utterly alone
No one treads this course
I show no displeasure
I have weathered many days
This very same way
I like my solitude
Some say I have a bad attitude
They show remorse
At this course I have chosen
I do not regret the past
And I will continue my life’s journey
For it will be my one shining glory
I can only hope one day
They will look back and say
She did it, her way
