I Walk In Beauty

Rating: 4.5

I walk in beauty like the warm summer night, of blossoming story's and crossing paths;
And all that's best of time traveling and
Rhyme scheming.
I cry in rain like the cold winter
Night,
Of roaring blisters and clawing fights,
But I just don't understand why it's
So uptight.
I laugh in a field of flowers like nobody's
Watching,
I ask myself over and over why
Their is so much hatred and wicked taking
Over every generation.

But I think of family and I always think of God that's always watching over me every night

Using similes to drive home your feelings of joy and sadness is both appropriate and poetically remarkable. A lovely piece of poetry nicely penned with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
